Delivery Policy

Couriers

Simply Bamboo uses independent couriers to deliver the goods and while it tries to select couriers who are reputable and reliable, Simply Bamboo cannot be held liable for the courier's actions.

Time of delivery

Simply Bamboo will advise you of an approximate delivery day at the time of your order whenever possible. Deliveries are generally made between 8.00 am to 6.00pm. Requests for an estimated time of arrival on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier's discretion. Simplybamboo cannot make a courier contact you to advise delivery times, we can only request this. Simplybamboo cannot be held responsible for delivery time times set by or agreed with couriers.

Delivery by lorry

Flooring deliveries could be made by lorry. We assume that the delivery address will be accessible by both large and small lorries. If there is likely to be a problem for delivery by lorry, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction, please inform us at the time of order.

Kerb side delivery

Please note that deliveries are made to the ?kerb side'. Unfortunately insurance cover prevents the courier from taking goods into your home. Therefore please arrange for adequate help at time of delivery.

Action upon delivery

All deliveries must be signed for. Please inspect all goods immediately on delivery. This means opening tubes to check trims, glancing over (but not opening) packs of flooring for visible damage. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or missing item, make sure you note this on the courier's paperwork. You cannot make any claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address unless signed for as damaged or missing. Please ensure you make any claims within 7 days of receipt of goods.

Re-delivery charge

Please note we may charge you for re-delivery if a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there [or the courier cannot gain access to your address because you have not notified us of likely problems of delivery by lorry] or where you refuse goods on delivery because of damage but, upon return to us, we find that they are undamaged.
